The President of Kyrgyzstan addressed Kyrgyzstanis regarding the protection of foreign investors. Sadyr Japarov expressed his opinion on Facebook.
According to him, many investors from foreign countries have been coming to Kyrgyzstan in recent years. This is good because it is difficult for a country to develop without investment. But, unfortunately, some investors were deceived by private entrepreneurs and now they write statements.
«Of course, law enforcement agencies detain them and return the money to the investor. But this creates an unnecessary burden on them and diminishes the reputation of our country in the eyes of others. The Kyrgyz have a proverb: «Bir karyn maidy bir kumalak chiritet» (A fly in the ointment spoils a barrel of honey),» Sadyr Japarov posted.
There are several such dishonest people among us. Friends, stop the scam!

«Reminder for investors: it is safer for you to work as much as possible with government agencies — the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the National Agency for Promotion of Investments, heads of regional, district and village administrations. Dear heads of government agencies, you should also work closely with investors. It shouldn’t be like this when you say that you don’t have time, come tomorrow, the day after tomorrow. There should be no bureaucracy! We evaluate the work of each of you based on the number and volume of investors coming to your region,» the president concluded.
