Citizens of Israel are advised not to visit Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan

Citizens of Israel have been advised not to travel to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The Counter-Terrorism Headquarters (CTH) has published revised recommendations for travel abroad in accordance with the severity of the threat.

It is noted that since the beginning of the Swords of Iron War, the Counter-Terrorism Headquarters, in conjunction with the security system, has been conducting an ongoing assessment of threats to Israelis in various countries around the world. On November 3, recommendations were published regarding behavior abroad on these days, and the level of threat to Israelis in a number of countries was clarified. An in-depth study was also conducted on travel to all countries around the world according to the severity of the threat.

For several countries in Africa (including South Africa and Eritrea), Central Asian countries (including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan), the threat level was raised to 3. This means it is not recommended to visit these countries unless absolutely necessary.

«Since the start of the war, Iran and its satellites, as well as Hamas and elements of global jihad, have stepped up efforts to launch attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets around the world. This comes alongside a significant increase in incitement, attempted attacks against Israelis and Jews, and widespread anti-Semitism in many countries,» the recommendations say.

Another escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict occurred on October 7. Hamas militants launched massive rocket attacks on Israeli cities and invaded its territory. Tel Aviv declared war. According to the latest data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, almost 16,000 people were killed.
