A STEM laboratory was opened in preschool educational organization No. 4 Cheburashka in the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek. The press service of the capital’s municipality reported.
The classroom is equipped with special and different play sets, construction sets, a multi-studio and much more, which will allow children to learn to acquire communication skills, count, compare, measure, and program.
Deputy Head of the Pervomaisky District Ainura Arstambekova stressed the relevance of such projects for the development of a child’s intellectual abilities with the possibility of involvement in scientific and technical creativity and interest in the exact sciences.
Funds for the creation of the facility were allocated from the local budget with the support of deputy of the Bishkek City Council Aikanysh Ashyrova.
The STEM laboratory is a new original method for constructing an artificial learning environment for preschool children with an emphasis on research and design activities. Its main task is to provide preschoolers with a modern and competitive education.
