A meeting, dedicated to the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program, launched by the government of Hungary for those wishing to get higher education in this country, took place today. The Embassy of Hungary informed 24.kg news agency.
The program turned 10 in 2023. It has been implemented in Kyrgyzstan since 2017, when 25 quotas were allocated. To date, there are already 200 of them. 28 higher educational institutions in Hungary participate in it, which provide more than 1,200 directions in English and Hungarian.
The application process for the Stipendium Hungaricum program consists of several stages, including submitting an online application on the official website before January 15, 2024. The platform is now open and applicants can start filling out their profile and application. It is necessary to simultaneously fill out an application through the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The organizers expressed hope for further cooperation and an increase in the number of Kyrgyz students receiving education at Hungarian universities.
