“The Black Yard" nominated for Best Asian Series 2023

«The Black Yard» series directed by Dias Bertis was nominated for the «Best Asian TV Series 2023». It was announced at the Busan International Film Festival.

This is a joint work of 1.1 Studio (Kyrgyzstan) and Salem social media (Kazakhstan).

Five works were included in the shortlist.

The series is based on real events. The film tells the story of 16-year-old boys who, inspired by popular gangster TV series, dream of becoming cool gangsters. To do this, four friends decide on a big deal, after which they realize that the life is different from the movies.

The series has already gained more than 10 million views on YouTube.
