Trolleybus drivers left their working places and gathered near the Bishkek Trolleybus Department. They told about it to 24.kg news agency.
According to them, they demand an increase in wages and dismissal of the head of the Bishkek Trolleybus Department.
«The director said yesterday that they would increase our salary to 50,000 soms. But they won’t pay us so much, it will be less minus all payments and taxes,» they said.
They also added that the management fired several drivers.
Drivers of trolleybuses held a rally on Thursday. They told that about 100 people had already written a letter of resignation. Later it became known that their salaries would be increased to 50,000 soms. The City Hall also announced recruitment of new drivers for vacant positions, promising them high salaries.
