At least 42 fires were registered in Kyrgyzstan over the past 24 hours. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Most of the fires occurred in Chui region — 14, Bishkek took the second place with eight fires, Jalal-Abad region — the third with six fires. Five fires were registered in Osh region, four — in Batken, three — in Issyk-Kul region and one fire each in Osh and Talas regions.
At least 49 fire crews and one brigade of the rescue service were involved in extinguishing the fires.
