Farms in Kyrgyzstan have produced more than 600,000 tons of milk since the beginning of the year. Press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
«During the reporting period, milk production in the republic amounted to 606,800 tons, which is 12,900 tons, or 2.2 percent more than for the corresponding period last year. Milk production increased in all regions of the republic, except for Batken region,» the statement says.
Milk production at farms of Batken region decreased by 5.7 percent. The main reason for this is a decrease in the number of cows by 4,710 heads.
