Emir of Qatar and Sadyr Japarov visit Ala-Archa Nature Park

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani got acquainted with the ethno-cultural program organized as part of his state visit to the country in the state Ala-Archa Nature Park.

Upon arrival, the leaders of the countries were met by akyns-improvisers, Alptar baatyrs and girls in Atalar izi national costumes.

Moving to the alley of artisans, the leaders of the countries got acquainted with the presented national customs and traditions of the Kyrgyz people, workshops of artisans for the manufacture of handicrafts, and also tasted national Kyrgyz dishes in the installed yurts, which show the identity of the nomadic people.

As part of the ethno-cultural program, the guests were presented with an exhibition of collections of Kyrgyz national costumes Atalar izi; elements of the traditional «salbuurun» hunting with golden eagles, archers and taiganchi were also demonstrated.

The heads of state listened to works of different genres, music of the two countries performed by the folklore and ethnographic ensemble Kambarkan named after Isabayev.
