Agriculture Ministry: Pig DNA was not found in Toiboss sausage

The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan summed up the results of an investigation into Toiboss halal sausage, in which pig DNA was allegedly found earlier. Press service of the ministry reported that a negative result was obtained for all samples.

«Veterinary and sanitary conclusion on Adal-Azyk LLC has been issued. Samples collected from finished meat products, components of sausage additives were sent to the Center for Veterinary Diagnostics and Expertise in Bishkek, the Irkutsk Interregional Veterinary Laboratory in Russia, the testing laboratory Erkin Talgam LLP in Kazakhstan, Nutritest LLP in Almaty. A total of 57 samples were sent. All of them showed a negative result for pig DNA,» the statement says.

Rosselkhoznadzor reported earlier that «the service specialists found undeclared pork and soybeans in the Halal sausage imported from Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, the manufacturer, a company from Chui region of Kyrgyzstan, positions itself as an enterprise that produces meat products with strict adherence to technological recipes according to the Halal standard.

Toiboss company itself denies all accusations and states that «unfortunately, there are examples of the biased attitude of Rosselkhoznadzor towards Kazakhstan and Armenia, they are blacklisted as meat suppliers.»
