The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan draws the attention of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic arriving and leaving for Russia to important changes in the migration legislation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalled that on April 28 amendments were made to the federal law «On migration registration of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation.» The adjustments were agreed upon taking into account high-level negotiations held with the Russian side.
According to the innovations in the legislation, from the end of October 2023, citizens will have the right to independently notify the migration registration authorities in electronic form about their arrival and the arrival of minor children at their place of temporary residence.
For this they need:
- To have personal accounts in the system «Unified portal of state and municipal services (functions)»;
- To register in the system «Unified system of identification and authentication in the infrastructure providing information and technological interaction of information systems used to provide state and municipal services in electronic form».
When concluding a housing lease agreement, citizens will be able to independently submit a notification of their arrival and arrival of minor children mentioned in the agreement without additional consent from the owner.
