Emergency situation has been introduced in At-Bashi district. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The emergency situation was declared due to weather conditions on Arpa pasture, where some families and livestock got stuck in Ak-Beyit, Besh-Sary, Ichke areas.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations also added that 10 families and 980 horses, 400 cows and 8,400 sheep got stuck in Choi-Zhap area due to bad weather. There are 5 families, 867 cows and 1,400 sheep on Arpa pasture. Several animals died under the snow. Six more families with their livestock got stuck on Orto-Syrt pasture.
The shepherds and their families have food; hay and fodder for livestock will be delivered by employees of the ministry in the near future.
