The President of Kyrgyzstan got acquainted with the projects for the construction of new airports in Osh and Jalal-Abad. Sadyr Japarov examined the sites for their construction.
As the press service of the head of state notes, according to the project, these will be full-fledged airports built on new sites that meet all international standards and safety requirements.
During the inspection, Sadyr Japarov indicated that modern residential microdistricts will be built in Osh and Jalal-Abad on the site of the old airports. The total area of the operating Osh international airport is 168 hectares, Jalal-Abad — 78.2 hectares. Apartments built in these territories in multi-storey buildings will be issued to citizens through the State Mortgage Company under preferential mortgages.
The President instructed to step up preparatory work for the construction of airports so that they meet all international civil aviation requirements, noting that this is a key factor in the development of tourism.
