Man sexually abused his nine-year-old stepdaughter for three years in Kara-Balta city. He was sentenced to five years in prison, the verdict of the Chui Regional Court says.
According to the case file, the actions took place from the fall of 2018 to December 2021.
As noted, the defendant, in the absence of his wife, committed indecent acts against the child for three years. He also showed the girl pornographic videos. When the girl resisted, the man threatened to kill her.
When his wife got to know about it, the accused tried to flee to Russia. During the investigation, the man admitted his guilt and said that he enjoyed it. But he began to deny his guilt at the trial.
The Zhaiyl District Court found the man guilty of committing indecent acts against the minor (Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic) and sentenced him to five years in prison.
The girl’s mother did not agree with the decision and filed an appeal with a higher authority.
Having reviewed the case, the Chui Regional Court upheld the decision.
