The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek extended the ban on rallies in the center of Bishkek. Press service of the court informed 24.kg news agency.
The court recognized the decision of the municipal administration for Pervomaisky administrative district to limit places for holding peaceful rallies as lawful.
Holding of rallies and protests is not allowed on Ala-Too Square, Erkindik Boulevard (from Tugolbai Ata Street to Chui Avenue), near the buildings of the Parliament and the Presidential Administration, the Supreme Court, the Russian Embassy, the State Committee for National Security, as well as in the Ivan Panfilov Park and on the territory of the mini park named after TattybubuTursunbayeva. The ban has been extended until June 30. It is allowed to hold rallies only in the Maxim Gorky park.
The ban does not apply to state and municipal official events.
