The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan, Temir Sariev, held talks with Georgia on investment in the tourism sector of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the organization reported.
Agreements were reached with potential investors to get acquainted with the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan and to thoroughly develop projects to improve and increase the efficiency of existing facilities, as well as to create new zones for tourists.
«We have a lot to learn — Georgia annually receives more than 9 million tourists, and the income is $ 3.5 billion. Such large figures are provided by only four ski resorts located on the territory of the country. A very important point is that they all belong to the state, but management has been transferred to private companies,» Temir Sariev said.
