Cryptocurrency mining farm detected in Tokmak city

A cryptocurrency mining farm was detected in Tokmak city. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The mining farm was found in the garage cooperative of Tokmok City Council of the Union of Vehicle Drivers non-governmental association.

«Cryptocurrency was illegally mined there. 24 pieces of equipment for cryptocurrency mining were found and seized in the basements of garages. The equipment is connected to the network of the Tokmak power distribution zone. Damage caused to the state is preliminary estimated at about 1 million soms,» the state committee noted.
