The Institute of Ombudsman of Kyrgyzstan saved and returned about 4 million soms to the state budget. Its press service reported.
According to it, 60,146 million soms were provided from the budget for the Institute of Ombudsman in 2022. Of these, 86 percent were planned for wages and contributions to the Social Fund, 1.8 percent — for business trips, 3.2 percent — for utilities and communications, 1.9 percent — for transport services, 1.6 percent — for the purchase of other goods and services, and 3.1 percent — for current repairs. These funds were not used.
In August 2022, as part of the reform of the civil service system, the president doubled the salaries of the staff of the Ombudsman’s Institute, which required allocation of additional funding from the republican budget — about 24 million soms.
However, as a result of cardinal reforms in the work of the office of akyikatchy, optimization of resources, there were savings, which made it possible, without requesting additional funding, to be limited to the approved budget.
