The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek considered extension of preventive measure against ex-member of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Gulnara Dzhurabaeva.
The accused of attempt to organize mass riots said that she had no criminal intent and did not know what she was charged with.
«I was taken out for investigative actions once. I didn’t even understand the questions. No questions were asked on the merits,» Gulnara Dzhurabaeva said.
She noted that the conditions of detention in the detention center 1 in Bishkek were normal. Dzhurabaeva sits in the cell with prisoners whose accusations are not related to politics.
Gulnara Dzhurabaeva was remanded in custody until February 20, 2023.
The Committee for protection of Kempir-Abad reservoir was created on October 22. It includes activists, politicians and MPs.
