Mass arrests: Kamchybek Tashiev calls activists provocateurs

Power in Kyrgyzstan will be changed by constitutional means only. The head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), Kamchybek Tashiev, said at a meeting of the Parliament.

He called the detained activists, politicians and journalists, who were accused of organizing riots and attempts to seize power, provocateurs.

«Adakhan Kimsanbayevich, you say: «We know where the people who openly expressed their opinion are now.» They are provocateurs who were preparing destabilization and riots,» the head of the SCNS said.

We nipped in the bud all the attempts of those who wanted to come to power. We will continue to do it. This is the responsibility of the government.
