The average size of pension after its increase is 4,000 soms in Kyrgyzstan. The Deputy Chairwoman of the Social Fund, Gulnura Dzhumataeva, announced at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on social policy.
According to her, the pension is paid to citizens based on the length of service.
«There are also those who get 700 soms. It depends on the length of work. According to our calculations, on average, pensioners receive 4,000 soms,» Gulnura Dzhumataeva said.
Chairman of the Social Fund Bakhtiyar Aliyev said that the average pension had been increased by 1,113 soms.
Deputy Aibek Matkerimov asked the head of the Fund to carry out explanatory work with the population. According to him, some citizens are outraged that some pensions have been increased by several thousand soms, while others have not.
