Kyrgyzstani Bekten Erkebai uulu won a bronze medal at the World Combat Sambo Championship. The results of the third day of the competitions, which took place in Bishkek, were published on the website of the International Sambo Federation.
The athlete competed in the weight category up to 88 kilograms.
Bekbolot Toktogonov became the world champion in the weight category over 98 kilograms. Earlier, Daiyrbek Kariyaev defeated a Kazakh athlete in the final in the weight category up to 79 kilograms.
Felix Ulanbekov (77 kg) won a silver medal, Asylbek uulu Zhamalbek (88 kg) and Sayak Barakanov (combat sambo, 64 kg) won bronze medals.
The World Sambo Championship was for the first time held in Bishkek on November 11-13.
