A young woman was injured in Bishkek during strong wind that swept through the capital the previous evening. The city’s Emergency Medicine Center informed 24.kg news agency.
According to medical officials, a tree fell at the intersection of Erkindik Boulevard and Moskovskaya Street. As a result, the 23-year-old woman sustained injuries, including a broken shoulder. She was taken to the hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
Strong wind hit Bishkek on the evening of June 10, leaving parts of the capital without electricity. Trees were uprooted and fell onto vehicles in several areas. The storm also tore the national flag on Ala-Too Square, which was promptly replaced.
