The reason behind the resignation of Kyrgyzstan’s Energy Minister Taalaybek Ibraev has become known. According to the ministry’s press service, he submitted his resignation letter voluntarily in connection with his retirement.
The Energy Ministry staff bid farewell to the former minister as he departed for a well-deserved retirement.
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev thanked Taalaybek Ibraev for his contribution to the development of the country’s energy sector.
On Wednesday, he also introduced Altynbek Rysbekov to the ministry’s staff as the new Acting Energy Minister.
Taalaybek Ibraev had headed the Ministry of Energy since October 2022.
