Medical diagnostic center to be built in Kyzyl-Kiya at expense of RKDF loan

A modern private medical diagnostic center will be built in Kyzyl-Kiya, Batken region, with the support of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF). Press service of the fund reported.

The project is being implemented as part of direct funding. Credit funds of $460,000 will be used to complete construction, installation work and purchase medical equipment. Implementation of the project will facilitate access to quality medical care for the residents of the region.

The medical center will provide a wide range of services, including endourological, endosurgical and endotraumatological operations. The center will be able to receive up to 100 patients daily. The inpatient department will have 13 wards with 30 beds. Thanks to the latest equipment, operations will be performed without surgical intervention. The uniqueness of the project is that it will solve a number of problems in the region.

«To date, a full range of urological medical services is not provided in the region. Many patients are forced to travel to medical centers in Bishkek, Osh or Uzbekistan to receive the necessary treatment. In addition, the company will carry out about 10 operations per year free of charge — for socially vulnerable segments of the population. It is very important for the RKDF to implement not only commercial projects aimed at production, but also social ones, especially in remote regions of the Kyrgyz Republic,» said Artem Novikov, Chairman of the Board of the RKDF.

The Russian-Kyrgyz Investment Forum began today in Batken region. Russian companies from the fields of energy, agriculture, logistics, industry and trade, heads of regions of the Russian Federation are among the participants.
