A rally against aggression in Ukraine was held in Bishkek near the building of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan. Bashta Telegram channel reports.
In the video, an activist Ondurush Toktonasyrov takes out a plate of plov and a plate of stones from a bag. He explains that the Kyrgyz have a saying: «Don’t hit with stones, hit with food.»
The protester said that the rally was held on the birthday of the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
«Congratulations, but you don’t deserve good congratulations. You are the real aggressor. You are a friend of Rahmon (President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. — Note of 24.kg news agency). Why did you attack Batken?» Ondurush Toktonasyrov asked.
Another man was present at the rally. He was holding a poster with the inscription: «No war, Putin, go away.»
Police officers approached the protesters and asked them to leave. Later, both protesters were detained and taken to the police department of Pervomaisky district of the capital.
