Since the beginning of 2022, the Financial and Credit Fund has issued mortgage loans to 51 entities. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan provided the data.
One-time gratuitous assistance was also provided. In total, 2,560 million soms were allocated for these purposes. As of September 1, financial assistance was provided to 24,398 victims of natural disasters in the amount of more than 4 million soms. In addition, mortgage loans for 221.8 million soms were issued to 4,067 victims.
To assist victims of natural disasters, a secured, interest-free long-term loan is provided for a period of up to 20 years with a deferred payment of up to three years and on a mandatory repayment basis. In addition, victims can choose to receive free assistance for the restoration or construction of a new individual residential building in the amount of 50,000 soms or refundable 200,000 soms for up to 20 years.
