The wolf was announced as the mascot for the forthcoming IV World Nomad Games. The image was presented by the organizers on the official social media pages.
The Games will be held from September 29 to October 2 in the Turkish Iznik town on the coast of the lake of the same name. It is 125 kilometers from Istanbul. More than 3,000 athletes from 102 countries are expected to take part in them.
The mascot of the 3rd World Nomad Games was the snow leopard. The author of the image was the director-animator Tolgobek Koichumanov. He noted then that the idea to present the snow leopard as the mascot of the Games was connected with the importance of protection of this animal.
It was reported on Thursday that several Kyrgyz sports were excluded from the program of the World Nomad Games. Kyrgyzstan transferred to Turkey the right to host the IV World Nomad Games on the condition that they will include three sports: kok boru, er enish and kyrgyz kurosh.
