The President of Kyrgyzstan signed a decree on some measures to reform the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation (NTRC). Website of the Ministry of Justice reports.
The document adopted the proposals of the working group on improvement of the activities of NTRC. The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to reorganize the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation and the Republican Radio and Television Center state enterprise by merging them with transfer of all the rights and obligations to the NTRC.
In addition, regional television and radio companies with the appropriate staff, financial, material and technical means, as well as a large concert studio assigned to the Asankhan Dzhumakhmatov Kyrgyz State Academic Symphony Orchestra, are transferred under the control of the NTRC.
Sadyr Japarov also instructed to allocate additional funding to increase the remuneration of NTRC employees, modernize and develop the company.
