The Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev met with representatives of the Korea Water Resources Corporation K-Water. Press service of the Ministry of Economy reported.
The minister drew attention to the cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Korea in the implementation of joint projects in various fields, including through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
K-Water Executive Vice President discussed with the head of the relevant department the promotion of cooperation in the development, construction and operation of hydroelectric power plants, as well as in the field of water resources and water supply.
Representatives of K-Water told about the planned signing of a memorandum with the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Energy in the field of designing the construction of small hydropower plants.
