There are 728,164 pensioners in Kyrgyzstan. The Chairman of the Social Fund Baktiyar Aliev told at a press conference.
According to him, pensions and allowances totaling 27,326,800 billion soms have been paid for six months.
Baktiyar Aliev added that compared to last year, the need of budget funds for payment of pensions increased by 2,395.1 billion soms. This is due, according to him, to the annual increase in pensions and an increase in the number of pensioners.
