More than 70 percent of pensioners receive pensions through banks. Press service of the Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan reported.
As of January 1, 2023, the number of recipients of pensions in the republic is 742,870 people. At least 194,345 people of them, or 26 percent of the total number, receive pensions through the branches of Kyrgyz Pochtasy state enterprise, through commercial banks of the republic — 548,525 people, or 74 percent.
The required amount for the payment of pensions for 2022 in the amount of 58,824 billion soms has been fully funded. There are no pensions arrears.
