The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan passed the bill on voluntary legalization and amnesty of assets of individuals in the first reading.
At least 64 deputies voted for it, eight — against.
The day before, the President spoke in support of the capital amnesty bill. But at the same time, he noted that if the deputies have doubts, they may not adopt it.
The Cabinet of Ministers proposes to legalize assets in any form received before 2022. The bill applies to individuals and capital. The threshold amount is 100 million soms. In case the amount is higher, a declaration payment in the amount of 1 million soms is paid.
