Electronic register of permits developed in Kyrgyzstan

A unified electronic register of permits was presented in Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Economy and Commerce reported.

The system was developed in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The unified electronic register of permits is a public database that provides detailed information on the legal, procedural and financial aspects of obtaining permits. It allows individuals and legal entities to get the maximum amount of necessary information online in the shortest possible time to obtain permits when doing business.

The register also minimizes contacts between government agencies and the private sector.

For now, it contains information about 160 permitting documents. The database is being updated.

«The global digitalization of business processes and the rapid development of Internet technologies are leading to changes in the development of almost all areas of the world economy. Given these trends, digital technologies are being introduced in various sectors of the economy, in particular, e-commerce development platforms, transfer of public services to an automated format, customs and tax procedures are also being digitalized. The presented platform is one of the important parts of the transition to digital relations between the state and business,» the Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev said.
