The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan submits for public discussion a draft resolution on the approval of the regulation on compiling a register of bona fide entrepreneurs.
The authors note that there is a problem in Kyrgyzstan — businessmen are not sure that the state and society actually correctly assess their contribution to the development of the country’s economy and create all favorable conditions for this.
According to a survey of entrepreneurs conducted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2020, among the difficulties hindering business, 50 percent noted the lack of state support in business development, 44 percent indicated government interference in doing business.
The outflow of capital from Kyrgyzstan over the past two years tends to increase, which also indicates the uncertainty of business in the future. Therefore, the authorities decided to increase the confidence of business in the state.
The Cabinet once again emphasized that support for entrepreneurs is a priority of state policy. Therefore, it is proposed to introduce a number of personal benefits and privileges for businessmen who make a great contribution to the social and economic development of the country, including the creation of a register of conscientious entrepreneurs.
To get into the register, the following criteria are taken into account: no violations of the law, the amount of taxes paid, the number of jobs.
