A new composition of the Council for Food Security and Nutrition of the Kyrgyz Republic has been formed. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the press service of the Government, the decision was made not only to ensure a stable and uninterrupted supply of the country’s citizens with basic types of food, but also to take into account the physiological needs for food products, implement a set of measures in the field of healthy nutrition of the population, prevent diseases and improve the quality of life of the population through the adoption of coordinated and prompt decisions by the executive authorities.
First Deputy of Akylbek Japarov, Adylbek Kasymaliev, was appointed the Chairman of the Council.
The head of the Cabinet noted that a meeting of the Council for Food Security and Nutrition in the new composition should be held in the near future, while its decisions should not be advisory in nature, but should be practical tasks that contribute to solving the problems.
In total, 25 issues were considered during the meeting, including amendments to a number of regulatory legal acts regulating the activities of state bodies and local government bodies. In addition, in order to increase the level of financial sustainability of the pawnshops, it was decided to increase the minimum amount of their authorized capital.
