Deputies discussed a bill on gambling activities at a parliament meeting on Wednesday.
At first, the bill did not pass, as some deputies blocked the vote. However, after a break, the Speaker Talant Mamytov put the issue up for repeat voting.
As a result, 59 deputies voted for the bill in the third reading, and 7 voted against.
Adakhan Madumarov, Aigul Aidarova, Alisher Erbaev, Emil Toktoshev and Iskhak Masaliev did not vote.
Speaker of the Parliament Talant Mamytov, referring to the norm of the Constitution, which states that a bill can be adopted by a majority of votes, approved the results of the voting.
