Committee on Budget, Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved the bill on gambling activities. The decision was made on Monday at its meeting.
Discussion of the document was held behind closed doors. At the request of the Cabinet of Ministers, the bill was adopted immediately in the second and third readings. It will be considered at a meeting of Parliament. If the deputies also support the document, the President may sign it in the near future.
«I voted against the bill on opening of casinos, since online casinos will be opened in Kyrgyzstan and advertising of gambling games will be allowed on television, radio, billboards and in all possible places. Citizens will definitely play in the casinos,» MP Dastan Bekeshev wrote after the meeting.
