Eurasian Economic Forum: Some Bishkek streets to be closed for traffic

The Patrol Police Service of Bishkek reminded which roads will be closed for traffic on May 26 during the 1st Eurasian Economic Forum.

Traffic restrictions will be introduced during the passage of motorcades only.

The following streets will be closed for traffic:

  • Intersection of Fuchik Street and Zhibek Zholu Avenue;
  • Intersection of Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard and Chui Avenue;
  • Section of Chui Avenue from Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard to Abdrakhmanov Street;
  • Section of Manas Avenue (to the south) to Ala-Archa state residence.

Depending on the situation, adjacent streets may also be temporarily closed. The Patrol Police Service asks drivers to follow the rules of the road, taking into account time restrictions and plan their route in advance.

Kyrgyzstan took over the chairmanship of the EAEU in 2022. The Eurasian Economic Forum is held in the state chairing the EAEU. The event is scheduled for May 26. A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of the presidents is scheduled for May 27. It became known on May 20 that the heads of other EAEU countries will not come to Bishkek, they will attend the events online.
