The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan has switched to an electronic format for issuing work permits to foreign citizens. Press service of the ministry reported.
It was done to improve the provision of public services for issuing work permits to foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as to eliminate corruption risks. Documents are issued through «Electronic work permit» portal.
«As of May 1, at least 4,509 quotas have been allocated for engaging foreign labor in the territory of Kyrgyzstan out of 16,610. The republican budget received 65,600 million soms for work permits,» the ministry noted.
