Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev met with farmers of Chui region and dairy producers. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
The participants of the meeting discussed the current problems in the field of agriculture, including the current situation between farmers and dairy producers in matters of acceptance of milk, its quality and price.
It was noted that there are no uniform standards for acceptance and evaluation of milk quality between the parties, which often causes disputes.
As a result of the round table, it was decided to create two working groups with the participation of interested parties. The first one will fix standards for the acceptance and quality of milk between processing companies and suppliers, and the second will be created between farmers and suppliers, the group will determine the rules and working conditions among themselves.
«In view of the cases when milk suppliers do not trust the laboratory results of checking the quality of products of processing enterprises, the Veterinary Service was instructed to promptly respond to such disputes and conduct analysis and evaluate the quality of milk,» the press service noted.
In addition, the relevant departments were instructed to prepare educational information videos for farmers on caring for livestock.
Earlier, information appeared on social media that milk is poured into ditches in Sokuluk district. Later, the police reported that the quality of the milk did not meet the established requirements. Farmers suggested that, most likely, the factories want to reduce the purchase price.
