Bashkortostan is interested in supplies of meat, vegetables and fruits from Kyrgyzstan. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry reported.
According to the Chamber, a delegation, headed by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of Bashkortostan Lena Izotova, met with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. Vice President of the Chamber Bakhtiyar Mukhamedziev urged to move from declarative visits to concrete results and to begin work on promoting bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
According to him, the Russians could be interested in import of organic meat, which Kyrgyzstan is famous for.
«Meat delicacies are in great demand in China and Uzbekistan. In addition, there is great potential in tourism, including winter tourism,» he said.
Lena Izotova expressed interest in supplies of meat, vegetables and fruits from Kyrgyzstan, noting that Bashkortostan is looking for new partners for import substitution due to the situation in the world. In addition, Kyrgyzstan could become a hub for re-export of goods to other countries.
Bashkortostan is also ready to offer the Kyrgyz market sunflower oil, mineral fertilizers, wood and paper products, furniture, electrical equipment, various industrial and chemical products, digitalization services and much more. The Kyrgyz side showed interest in supplies of medical equipment and cold storage rooms for sausage products.
