Islamic Development Bank ready to continue projects in Kyrgyzstan

As part of the meeting of the World Government Summit in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev met with the Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group Muhammad Sulaiman Al-Jasser.

According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the parties discussed implementation of the agreements reached at the meeting in February.

They considered the issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the IDB and implementation of joint projects in various areas, including the development of infrastructure, energy, healthcare, education, food security and support for the private sector.

Arzybek Kozhoshev emphasized that the Islamic Development Bank makes a significant contribution to strengthening the domestic economy and improving the well-being of the people. In turn, the head of the bank expressed hope for further successful cooperation with the country and participation in projects aimed at developing the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
