Setting a single tax rate of 8 percent for public catering enterprises will lead to a sharp outflow of personnel. President of the Association of Public Catering Enterprises of Kyrgyzstan Anatoly Derevinsky stated today at a press conference at 24.kg news agency.
According to him, there is already such a trend. After learning about the increase in the tax rate, professional chefs began to look for a job in neighboring countries.
«In order to survive the tax increase, businesses will have to optimize costs. This includes layoffs and pay cuts. Under such conditions, professionals will leave the industry. We are currently working with the Ministry of Education, we are ready to support young personnel and provide them with jobs. But because of the increase in taxes, no one will want to work in the sector,» Anatoly Derevinsky said.
