Representative of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers in the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Almasbek Abytov informed the deputies about the decision of the head of state to accept resignation of the heads of the Constitutional Chamber Karybek Duisheev and the Supreme Court Nurgul Bakirova.
According to him, both are resigning of their own volition.
MP Iskhak Masaliev asked whether Duisheev and Bakirova had been pressured and whether anyone had advised them to resign.
Almasbek Abytov assured that no one pressured them and that they themselves had written notices and sent them to the Council of Judges.
As a result, the Parliament unanimously approved the resignation of Karybek Duisheev and Nurgul Bakirova.
The head of the Supreme Court Nurgul Bakirova resigned on January 31. On Tuesday, the deputies accepted the resignation of the Chairman of the Constitutional Chamber Karybek Duisheev at the request of the President Sadyr Japarov.
