Sellers of Dordoi Dyikan market hold a rally in Bishkek. They oppose introduction of cash registers. The head of the trade union of market workers Ziyabidin Maksutov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, after the installation of cash registers, entrepreneurs will be forced to raise prices for their goods.
«This will lead to an increase in food prices. We’ll raise prices, but what about the people? All goods are so expensive now. If the prices grow even more, then many people simply will not be able to buy even essential products. We think about the people, as in the most difficult times. For example, we stood here and worked during «black July», risking our health, because people had to eat. During the pandemic, representatives of government agencies came, counted our goods in the warehouses, then gave information that these were allegedly the state reserves. The people always help themselves. The Cabinet has again forgotten about the people, but we want to remind and oppose the cash registers» Ziyabidin Maksutov told.
Sellers of Dordoi market also held a rally against the installation of cash registers.
