E-consignment notes: Dordoi Dyikan vendors not appear at work in protest

Dordoi Dyikan market vendors did not appear at work in protest against the requirement to use electronic invoices and consignment notes in their work. Ziyabidin Maksutov, Chairman of the Market Association, confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.

According to him, senior managers do not hear their demands.

«The vendors are still asking to cancel the electronic invoices and consignment notes. These tools are not so easy to use in practice, as the tax authorities explain. Some have already failed to work with them. About 70-80 percent of sellers in the market are engaged in the resale of goods. They have 20-, 40-ton containers, which are used as a warehouse and showcases. It is required to issue electronic invoices and consignment notes to all buyers. They need an accountant, a laptop for this. There’s no room for that. We agree to work with cash registers and pay taxes. Entrepreneurs selling fruits and dried fruits have revenue not exceeding 15 million soms, and they want to work at a zero rate. But they are forced to pay tax at 0.1 percent. There is discontent about this too,» Ziyabidin Maksutov said.

He noted that tax officials have been coming for six months and demanding to issue electronic invoices and consignment notes, but in practice even the website salyk.kg does not work properly.

Recall, all markets in the country had to switch from the license system to electronic consignment notes and electronic invoices from January 1, 2024. The sellers of the largest market in Kyrgyzstan, Dordoi, held a rally because of it. The president met with them and gave them time to prepare. Thus, Sadyr Japarov postponed the switch to electronic consignment notes till July 1, 2024.
