Foreign Affairs Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Foreign Minister of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar as part of India — Central Asia dialogue in New Delhi. Press service of the Foreign Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The ministers discussed issues of Kyrgyz-Indian cooperation, including political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian partnership.
The parties also discussed preparations for the upcoming visit of the President Sadyr Japarov to India in January 2022 as part of the participation in India — Central Asia summit. The Indian side expressed interest in bringing India’s bilateral relations with Central Asian countries to a higher level of cooperation.
Ruslan Kazakbaev noted the importance of holding all the planned bilateral events, primarily the 10th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Indian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation within the framework of the Cross Year of the Cultures of Kyrgyzstan in India and India in Kyrgyzstan.
