Drunk man beat his wife in Sokuluk district of Kyrgyzstan. The woman, without regaining consciousness, died in the hospital. The Central Department of Internal Affairs of Chui region reported.
The incident happened yesterday. The police received a message from the territorial hospital that a woman was hospitalized with various injuries.
The police identified the victim. She turned out to be 41-year-old K.E.
The fact was registered under article 130 «Infliction of grievous bodily harm» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Husband of the woman, 48-year-old B.K., was detained on suspicion of committing the crime.
According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the crime was committed on the basis of a drunk quarrel between the spouses. The suspect was placed in the temporary detention facility.
All necessary examinations have been scheduled. Pre-trial proceedings are ongoing.
