A student from Kyrgyzstan won a bronze medal at the 4th International Youth Olympiad in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
The Olympiad was reportedly held in Baku (Azerbaijan) from December 6 to December 9.
«Fyodor Korniyash, a student of the Educational Complex of the Author’s Physics and Mathematics School-Lyceum No. 61, won a bronze medal with 38 points out of 40 in mathematics. He was prepared for the Olympiad by his math teacher Mamat Ishmatov,» the department noted.
In addition to him, the Kyrgyzstan’s team included Aimonchok Abdigaparova, a ninth-grade student from the Zhumabaev secondary school in Gulcho village, Osh region, and Bektur Baratali, a ninth-grade student from the Aitmatov Lyceum in Bishkek.
